“The pain that centered on my left shoulder would usually result in numbness in my left arm and hand. As a result, I would lose my grip and become useless in the office. The severe aching caused me sleepless nights,” shares Bernabela.

Bernabela would often consult doctors to alleviate her symptoms, but all she could get were prescriptions that offered only temporary relief.

“There were times that I even sought alternative healing practices such as body massage and acupuncture just to ease the pain, but both offered only short-term comfort at best,” recalls Bernabela.
