That’s why she had her heart broken when her two daughters started suffering from weak immune systems.

“My daughters Yan Ying and Yan Sei would easily catch cough and colds every time the weather changed or if they had fruits, sweets or desserts. Kwee Swee’s children took different types of medication, but what they got was merely a fleeting relief. There were times when her daughters had asthma attacks and suffer from sleepless nights.
