2008 Walk for the Mission
On a picture-perfect morning on August 16, 2008, more than 3,400 Relìv Distributors and employees took to the streets of St. Louis for the second annual Walk for the Mission to benefit the Relìv Kalogris Foundation. It was one of the true highlights of Relìv’s 20th Anniversary International Conference — a time for all of us to come together in support of our common mission to nourish our world. The Walk itself raised $68,000 while an additional $13,000 was donated at the Kalogris booth, bringing the total raised that weekend to an impressive $81,000!
Funds raised by the Walk for the Mission are used to support special projects of the Relìv Kalogris Foundation. The 2007 Walk, for example, funded the construction of new feeding centers and schoolrooms in the Philippines and Haiti. Projects have not yet been identified for the money raised through the 2008 Walk, so keep an eye out for news announcing what we’re going to accomplish thanks to this very special event.
