Ambassadors David Ho and Noratus Horas of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, have committed to reach out and help as many people as they can by sharing Reliv. The twin brothers have made it their mission to share blessings and affect other people’s lives the same way that Reliv has touched theirs.
For more than 20 years, David and Horas suffered with back pain and made daily activities difficult. Horas is a specialist in nutrition and anti-aging in Indonesia while David worked as a flight attendant based in Australia. Though they were living hundreds of miles away from each other, the siblings shared the same health concern and were in constant search for something that would ease their back pain.
David recalls how the backache would get so bad “The pain occurred at least once a month and it happened anytime while I was brushing my teeth, or sneezing or while driving. This kind of attack left me very helpless and unable to stand. I had to crawl around the house to do my chores and the recovery would take a week.” David had to wear a back brace corset at work and take painkillers to get through each flight.
Meanwhile, Horas shares how each morning became a daily struggle. “Getting myself up from bed was an ordeal. Every muscle ached and it was draining my energy even before I could perform any task for the day”. Aside from the back pain, the twins both suffered from an upper respiratory infection also. Horas and David were very susceptible to colds and flu especially during the seasonal changes. They experienced frequent and extreme sore throats and were on antibiotics all the time.
After taking Reliv for just a couple of weeks, Horas’ back pain slowly lessened. As he felt better, Horas recalls that his energy level increased and he became more productive at work. Since regularly taking the products, Horas also realized that he didn’t experience colds and flu anymore. David was elated when his brother shared the products with him and his stories, and decided to give Reliv a try. It was during one church visit five months later that David noticed that his back pain had subsided as well.
“When I realized that I was kneeling in prayer for over 45 minutes, I was shocked and in tears that evening,” David remembers. “I couldn’t kneel for more than 10 minutes before because my back would get very painful. I knew that the products I was taking helped me get what my body needed.”
Since then, Horas and David started sharing Reliv with friends and family. Their belief in the products intensified every time someone got great results from the products and thanked them for sharing Reliv. The twins signed up at the Master Affiliate level in August 2005 since they knew they would be taking the products for the rest of their lives. This decision became the start of their Reliv business.
They attended their first Reliv Conference in Malaysia and saw the big picture of the company, and they soon started plugging into the Reliv System. Though they were just doing the business part-time, Horas and David recouped their investment in less than two months. On top of their earnings, they won a cash bonus of AUS$1,000 for being the second highest volume producer in Australia. They quickly advanced to Key and Senior Director levels and qualified for an exclusive training in Dos Palmas resort in Palawan, Philippines, in September 2006. David says the workshop inspired them to look closely into the business and they decided to set their goals.
In April 2007, Horas and David focused on their business, made big decisions and worked with their uplines to be able to build a strong organization. They both knew the potential of the business in terms of providing them a means to secure their future. Horas says they also realized that, through Reliv, they could be instruments for other people’s success. The twins agreed to transfer their base from Australia to Malaysia. David resigned from his company and worked closely with Horas to achieve their goals.
“We reached out to old friends and colleagues from different areas and started developing our leaders. Reliv is indeed an international business and we have been able to maximize our network by utilizing the Reliv System,” shares David. As they did this, their monthly Reliv checks continued to grow and they soon advanced to Master Director. In August and September of this year, they earned over RM27,000; each month.
They have also won three Kalogris Awards this year which means that they were able to share over RM127,000 worth of Reliv products. Since they started their Reliv business two years ago, Horas and David has already earned more than RM90,000 from all avenues of income including numerous cash bonuses. They have also qualified for an incentive trip to Beijing, China, next year.
“Reliv has changed our lives. It gave us back our hopes and dreams,” says David. “No other products have come close to Reliv. The fantastic products are the reasons why we have been able to live a healthy and better life today. Reliv has also brought my twin brother and I closer than ever. We have been away from each other for almost 14 years but today; we are working side by side because of Reliv. We want to share our blessings with other people and through Reliv we know that we can help them turn their dreams into reality.”
