Leah Yamada of Davao City, Philippines, resigned as a court stenographer for the Regional Trial Court in Dumaguete City in 1996 because she could not bear the pain of her wrist disorder.
“I would feel numbness in my fingers whenever I held objects like a pen, phone or newspaper. I also started experiencing pain that radiated from my fingers to my upper arms especially after a forceful or repetitive use of my hands,” shares Leah.
