Reliv, Missouri Plant Science Center, to Announce Research Agreement

Details to be announced at Reliv's international conference in St. Louis

CHESTERFIELD, Mo., Aug. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Reliv International, Inc. (NASDAQ: RELV) will announce a new joint research and development relationship with the Missouri Plant Science Center at Reliv's 23rd annual international conference in St. Louis later this month.

Reliv, a maker of nutritional supplements that promote optimal health, will be the first corporate partner to join plant science center managing tenant Soy Labs LLC of Mexico, Mo.

The Missouri Plant Science Center is a joint venture of the Missouri Technology Corp., the University of Missouri and the city of Mexico, Mo. It will serve the nutraceutical, cosmeceutical, medical food, natural/specialty foods and other industries.

The center will combine the most advanced plant science research with pilot manufacturing capabilities. Scientific researchers, business and industry experts will work together at the plant center to move concepts from the laboratory to production and finally to the global marketplace.

Further details will be announced on Aug. 19, during Reliv's international conference which runs from Aug. 18-20 at America's Center in downtown St. Louis. More than 2,000 independent Reliv distributors from North America, Asia, Europe and Australia are expected to attend the conference.

During the event, distributors will receive training to expand their businesses, recognition for sales achievements and the opportunity to network with other Reliv distributors.
