Reliv International Launches New Products
And Business Tools at 21st International Conference

ST. LOUIS, Aug. 18, 2009 – Reliv International, Inc. (NASDAQ:RELV), a nutrition and direct selling company, launched new products and business tools for its independent distributors here at its 21st annual international conference, which took place Aug. 13-15.

Highlights of the conference included:

• The launch of a new family of products called Relivables™, which includes the exclusive “r collection” of personal care products. (See www.relivables.com.)
• The announcement of a new clinical study on Reliv nutritional supplements.
• The introduction of personal websites as a great new marketing tool for distributors
• The launch of a distributor autoship program that has the potential to boost sales.
• The third annual Walk for the Mission to raise funds for the Reliv Kalogris Foundation.
• Training for independent distributors from some of Reliv’s most successful distributors.

In his keynote address, Reliv Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Robert L. Montgomery said, “Tens of millions of people are looking for jobs and an equal number have seen their salaries reduced or faced furloughs. Reliv distributors can help those people set up their own Reliv businesses, begin supplementing their income and potentially reduce the financial pressures they are feeling today,” he said.

The Walk for the Mission, held on downtown St. Louis streets on Aug. 15, attracted approximately 2,400 participants. They raised nearly $50,000 and the three-year total amount raised is more than $290,000. The Reliv Foundation has built combination feeding centers and classrooms in the Philippines and Haiti with previously raised funds. The Foundation is feeding more than 42,000 malnourished people, mostly children, every day in 10 countries.

The new Relivables product family includes women’s and men’s personal care products that comprise the “r collection.” Other products in the Relivables line include fortified soy milk, an all-natural sweetener and sunscreen.

Several thousand distributors from North America, Asia, Europe and Australia attended the conference, held at the America’s Center convention center in St. Louis.

During the conference, Dr. Jorge Sison of the Philippines presented a clinical study he and three colleagues conducted on soy-based food supplements, using Reliv Now® and FibRestore® . (See http://www.reliv.com/US/EN/Products.html.) The study found that Reliv Now and FibRestore both reduced total cholesterol well beyond a control group over the 60-day trial period. The randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study took place at the Department of Medicine at the Medical Center Manila in the Philippines. The researchers plan to submit the study for publication in a peer-reviewed medical journal.
