Relìv “Walk for the Mission” Raises
Approximately $47,000 for Malnourished People

ST. LOUIS, Aug. 19, 2009 – Relìv International, Inc. held its third annual “Walk for the Mission” on Aug. 15 to raise funds for the company’s charitable arm, the Relìv Kalogris Foundation.

Approximately 2,400 Relìv independent distributors from 10 countries participated in the walk as part of Relìv’s international conference, which took place here from Aug. 13-15.

The Relìv Foundation provides free nutritional supplements daily to more than 42,000 people in the United States and nine other countries. The majority of the recipients are malnourished children who live outside of the U.S. who receive the supplements in more than 270 feeding programs.

This year’s event, like past events, took place in downtown St. Louis and included a 1-mile walk and a 5K run. The 2009 Walk for the Mission raised nearly $50,000 for the Relìv Foundation.

Using funds raised in previous years, the Relìv Foundation has built four combination feeding centers and classrooms: two in the Philippines and two in Haiti.

Including this year’s event, the Walk for the Mission has attracted more than 9,000 participants, all of whom were Relìv distributors, family members or Relìv employees. In total, the three events have generated more than $290,000 for the foundation.

Since its founding in 1995, the Relìv Foundation has distributed more than $17 million in nutritional support throughout the world.
