Relìv International Hires Director of Strategic Development

CHESTERFIELD, Mo., Dec. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Relìv International, Inc. (Nasdaq: RELV), a nutrition and direct selling company, today announced the hiring of Lori Sauerwein as director of strategic development. This is a new position at Relìv.

 

Sauerwein will be responsible for strategic planning. She'll also focus on creating a social media strategy that fits within Relìv's overall strategy.

 

"Lori knows Relìv very well, having been a consultant for us for 12 years," said Ryan Montgomery, Relìv's executive vice president for worldwide sales. "She also has tremendous knowledge of direct-selling companies based on 25 years of experience in the industry. I look forward to her making more great contributions to Relìv." 

 

Sauerwein previously owned the consulting firm Sauerwein Communications, which specialized in marketing communications and marketing strategy for direct-selling companies. In addition to working with Relìv, she consulted for other direct-selling companies such as Tupperware, PartyLite and The Body Shop at Home. Other clients included Pizza Hut and Rent-A-Center.

 

Prior to establishing her consulting firm, Sauerwein worked at Tupperware for 10 years, where she held positions in publications, sales and marketing.

 

Sauerwein, 48, earned a BS in journalism from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill.
